Nomiku produces sous-vide machines for the modern, at-home chef. Although sous-vide is identified as highly technical and cutting edge form of cooking they designed their products to be simple, accessible and affordable.
Together we decided on a brand identity that was more casual than the trend of high-tech minimalisim. We designed their logo as an Apple meets Martha-Stewart using modern typography and warm, friendly colours. The water-drop in the “O” refers back to the water-bath cooking of sous-vide cuisine.
With their unique branding and innovative product, Nomiku managed to raise over $500,000 on kickstarter for their first product run and secure a successful first round of investment.
